Yoga For Backs workshops on Tuesday nights. These are suitable for people of all levels, including beginners to yoga and people with or without back problems.

Last two Tuesdays this summer:  19th June, 24th July 6-8pm.

These are two hour workshops which focus on easy practices to incorporate into your daily life to help ease an aching back and maintain on going back health. The approach of these classes combines practices

  • from my classical hatha yoga training, including yoga nidra deep relaxation,
  • what I have learnt from the “yoga for healthy backs” specialist training I have completed and
  • My training with Pete Blackaby and my interest in yoga, movement and the brain and dealing with chronic pain.

The back can  not be separated from the rest of the body! Yoga, by its nature has a holistic approach to the body, mind and breath. In this workshop, someone with a current or chronic back problem should fee quite safe, secure and supported but even if your back is fine, this yoga workshop should suit you.

You can sign up for all 5 workshops or just 1 or 2. Places are limited to 8.

The workshops are £20 and this includes a handout for home practice and audio file to guide you.

Please not that these workshops are not the 12 week Yoga for Healthy Backs course which is on a Wednesday morning.

All workshops must be paid for in advance. If you are unable to attend a workshop the fee will only be refunded if your place can be filled from a waiting list. If a workshop is cancelled you will be offered a cash refund or the option of being transferred to an alternative event.
