(Including a short home practice to develop and maintain a healthy back).
This next Sunday Morning workshop will be on Sunday 2nd April 2017

Most of us are so busy keeping up with our lives it can seem impossible to spend some focussed time on yoga practice during the day. The key to making a difference to how we feel physically and mentally with yoga may be to give ourselves achievable aims in what we try to do.
This workshop will take you through simple straightforward yoga practices and looks at clever ways to begin to incorporate these yoga techniques into a busy life. It will help you to ease an aching body as well as stregthen and maintain a healthy body and use traditional yoga (mindfulness) techniques and Yoga Nidra deep relaxation to begin to address any rising stress levels in your life to embrace life more fully.
At the end of the morning you will have a clear plan of how to do some yoga every day, from a minute or two here and there to “time on the mat” of varying lengths.
The workshop is suitable for all (including women in the postnatal period) whether you are new to yoga or experienced but not yet practicing regularly at home.
Rebecca Allen has been teaching yoga and meditation for 18 years. She is qualified as a Satyananda, and British Wheel yoga teacher and has completed further training as a teacher of the Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs Programme.

All workshops must be paid for in advance. If you are unable to make a workshop the fee will only be refunded if your place can be filled from a waiting list. If a workshop is cancelled you will be offered a cash refund or the option of being transferred to an alternative event.
Sunday morning winter yoga on the 22nd January and the 12th February,
10am until 1:30pm including a break with cinnamon buns and ayurevedic warming chai in front of the wood burning stove. £25
Come and nurture yourself with a morning of yoga in a warm, calm space.
This is often a time of year when we are challenged by the weather and our energies are flagging. Treat yourself to a morning of yoga to help you navigate this point in the cycle of the seasons.
During the morning we can take time to turn inwards and connect deeply with ourselves, reflect on where we are in our lives, and set our intentions for the year ahead, before the new growth of spring starts.
We will work with movements to strengthen and nourish the body, breathwork to balance the nervous system so we can be both calm and alert, and a yoga nidra deep relaxation to restore our energies, both physical and mental.
From 10 am until 1:30pm. £25 including freshly baked cinnamon buns and ayurvedic warming winter chai.
The wood burning stove will be lit and the smell of baking will rise up the stairs as we do our yoga.
Hope to see you soon, Rebecca.

“How to integrate yoga into a busy life – to ease the back and sooth a busy mind”.
Most of us are so busy keeping up with our lives it can seem impossible to spend some focussed time on yoga practice during the day. Sometimes, less is more, when it comes to starting to practice yoga at home. We may need achievable aims so we don’t give up before we start! This workshop looks at clever ways to begin to incorporate yoga techniques into a busy life. It will help you to ease an aching back and use traditional yoga (mindfulness) techniques to begin to address any rising stress levels in your life.
The workshop is suitable for all, whether you are new to yoga or experienced but not yet practicing regularly at home. For those of you coming to weekly classes, it may be useful to encourage you to practice at home during the summer break from classes in August!
